Nursery's new playground

Nusery children are all very exited about their new playarea that opened on the 5th of November because it has lots of cool things including:
  • sand
  • crates
  • slide
  • climbing frame
  • bikes
  • grass with hills
  • hoops
  • and loads, loads more

A boy called Danny said, "I like everything but I like the hill the most." Everyone loves the new playground and you will too!

Five Little Men

Hello everyone!

The children have enjoyed singing the song "Five Little Men" at nursery.  Some of the children even acted out the song in our very own flying saucer! Scroll down to see our photos and lyrics - why not practice singing together at home?

Five Little Men

Five little men in a flying saucer,
Flew ‘round the world one day.
They looked left and right,
But they didn't like the sight,
So one man flew away,
Whoosh!

Four little men in a flying saucer,
Flew ‘round the world one day.
They looked left and right,
But they didn't like the sight,
So one man flew away,
Whoosh!

Three little men in a flying saucer,
Flew ‘round the world one day.
They looked left and right,
But they didn't like the sight,
So one man flew away,
Whoosh!

Two little men in a flying saucer,
Flew ‘round the world one day.
They looked left and right,
But they didn't like the sight,
So one man flew away,
Whoosh!

One little man in a flying saucer,
Flew ‘round the world one day.
He looked left and right,
But he didn't like the sight,
So one man flew away,
Whoosh!

We hope you are having a wonderful half term and look forward to seeing you again next week!

Welcome!

Welcome to our blog! Here we will update you on all the exciting things we are doing in Nursery this year. It is also a great way for you to talk with your child about what they have been doing in Nursery.  Please add a comment - we would love to hear from you!

Last week in Nursery, the children enjoyed cooking with Mrs Remikie.  We made a delicious marble birthday cake!

This week we have been busy fixing cars and scooters in our outdoor garage.  The role play has encouraged children to develop their language and communication skills.  The children were particularly keen to explore using real tools!
